This website provides a directory of home adaptation installers and DFG grant information for 84 UK towns. We are a directory service, not an installer, contractor, or government body.

2. Disclaimer

We do not endorse or guarantee any installer listed on this site. Listings are compiled from publicly available data sources including council websites, Home Improvement Agency registries, and manufacturer directories. Users should conduct their own due diligence before engaging any installer.

3. DFG Information

DFG grant information is provided for informational purposes only and is sourced from official council publications. Grant eligibility, amounts, and processing times may change. Always verify current details with your local council.

4. Installer Listings

Installers may claim and manage their listings. We do not verify qualifications or certifications unless explicitly stated. The "DFG-experienced" label indicates the installer has been identified through council, HIA, or manufacturer sources as working on DFG-funded projects. It does not constitute a formal approval or accreditation.

5. Paid Subscriptions

Featured (£29/month) and Premium (£59/month) listings are recurring subscriptions billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal — access continues until the end of your current billing period. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. To request a refund within this period, email hello@saferathome.co.uk.

6. User Conduct

Users must not submit false enquiries, scrape data from the site, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this directory, including but not limited to work carried out by listed installers. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid by you for use of our services.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
